So it turns out I had swine flu and missed Halloween.

But there's good news.

I can now sing 'Girlfriend' by Avril Lavigne in Japanese.

And I finished reading every comic strip of Least I Could Do (which you should go read right now because I swear it's one of the funniest comic series I've ever read).

...and I'm home sick with God knows what.

My head hurts like hell. I'm cold even though I have my bathrobe and a blanket on.

I've got a temperature of 103.

And to top it all off, Halloween is in two days.

TWO DAYS.

My favorite holiday of the year is coming and I'm probably going to miss it.

Which really stinks, because I spent over a hundred dollars on my costume JUST to wear it for one day.

Why? Why must this happen to me?

Manga. Songs. Movies. A touching picture. You know, stuff.

So I'm walking through the woods with my two best friends, Hannah and Mev. It's dusk, and we're following a trail to Mev's house. Mev's dad is rich so he installed speakers in the woods which are playing music as we walk along.

We get to a staircase. By then, it's nightime, and I'm carrying a flashlight to help us see. I remembered having this dream before, and remembered two Flood* Carrier Forms** would appear at the top of the stairwell, as would a few Combat Forms***.

My friends drew their Assault Rifles**** and fired the hell out of those guys (I didn't have a gun). While they were shooting, I noticed a girl helping a Combat Form down the staircase. I went over to her and asked her why she was helping the enemy. She explained that she was on our side and she was only trying to get the thing off the staircase so she could kill it. I apologized and then she somehow disappeared into thin air. Maybe she was a ghost or something.

After successfully defeating the enemy, we proceeded to enter the house. Then we beat up more Flood and noticed the house was on fire. For some reason, we decided it would be a good idea to hang out in Mev's room on the top floor and watch TV until the house started to come/burn down.

Everything was shaking - then the power went out and we knew it was time to get out of there. I was the first out of the room and down the stairs, and then...

I woke up.

*INFO ON 'THE FLOOD':

**CARRIER FORM:
