A vast sky painted blue,
dipped in the tears that He's shed for us,
and yet we take it for granted,
leaving God alone to cry for the people that no longer care for Him.
We are lost in this beautiful world you gave us,
this wonderful place that we don't deserve
because all we're doing is making it worse
and we just don't know what to do.
A flower for your grave, my Lord,
because I see you in all the people you've created.
All the people who are just doing things to help,
all the people who live to see others smile
and take on a heavy burden.
I see you in them, my Lord,
and for them I pray.
