I walked through the woods, mist clouding my vision.
I could not see a thing, I only knew it was a forest because I kept tripping over feet and bumping into bodies, kept hearing
"Sorry!" "Excuse me!" "Watch where you're going!"
in some foreign language, but I could understand and speak.
I wondered where I was, and what happened to my world.
I worried about trivial things, like the essay I was to turn in on Tuesday but might not complete now. I worried about my grades, and my parents.
I worried about my pets, too.
Mostly I worried about not being able to watch movies or admire art now.

First Draft of Doors
There are five doors, all in a circle in a dim room. Light comes from above, but the ceiling is impossibly high - you're not even sure there is a ceiling. You can pick any door you choose, or rest on the couch in the middle.

The couch is the only furniture in the room. You note that the walls are decorated with strands of human hair, which wiggle strangely when you touch them.
You decide not to touch the wall anymore.
When you go back to sit on the couch, it has disappeared and replaced with a mouth. The mouth looks hungry, you'd better pick a door before it decides to eat you.
